Quad City Medical Society Office

The Quad City Medical Society Office is a professional office serving over 500 physicians who belong to the Rock Island County Medical Society and the Scott County Medical Society. The physicians practice in every specialty and are dedicated to providing the best quality of care to patients and to protecting the health of the community. Together the two Medical Societies represent the majority of physicians with offices in the Quad City area.

Find the Right Physician
We help you find the right physician through a referral service and provide information about a physician’s primary specialty, medical training, and experience. Search the Find a Physician database or call 563-328-3390 for help finding local physicians. We are committed to promoting good patient outcomes and can assist those with serious quality of care concerns.

Working Towards a Healthy Future
We provide valuable educational opportunities for physician members of Rock Island and Scott County, working actively to ensure that social trends and their impact on the health of the community are assimilated into best practices. We participate in community initiatives that deal with health problems and are on coalitions promoting better health in the community.

Community Health
We volunteer our services assisting patients with questions about diverse health issues in “Staying Well”, a health-care guide developed in cooperation with the Quad-City Times. The guide features articles written by member physicians and showcases health-care resources available in the Quad-City region.

Children's Health
We coordinate a Child Health Month Campaign and Pediatric Hotline in October in observance of Child Health Month, answering questions on a variety of topics related to healthy growth and development, immunizations, child care, nutrition, when to call your pediatrician, fitness, substance abuse, and behavioral problems among many other areas.

Helping Seniors
We sponsor File of Life, providing seniors, at no charge, with kits allowing them to post important medical information on their refrigerator. Medics, responding in an emergency, are able to access vital information about medications or allergies from victims who are unable to understand the situation or respond.
