The Quad City Medical Society Office (QCMSO) is a professional organization dedicated to assisting physicians in the practice of medicine. QCMSO serves over 500 physicians who belong to the Rock Island County Medical Society and the Scott County Medical Society. The physicians practice in every specialty and are dedicated to providing the best quality of care to patients and to protecting the health of the community. Together the two Medical Societies represent the majority of physicians with offices in the Quad City area.
Although membership is voluntary, physicians choose to join because they know that team efforts are most effective in attaining their goal of quality medical care. Society members understand that quality medical care means being involved in patient advocacy, public information, health education and community health affairs.
The Rock Island and Scott County Medical Societies provide an environment for physicians to come together to try to find solutions to problems facing their patients. It also provides a forum for open discussion of important socioeconomic issues facing physicians, medical practices and patients.
